HOME-SCHOOL PROGRAM

HERITAGE ACADEMY welcomes homeschool students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to take science, writing, and Latin classes. Kindergarten homeschool students are welcome two or three days each week to participate in all activities offered.

Part-time students are considered members of the
HERITAGE ACADEMY student body and may participate in afterschool activities and all extra-curricular activities (e.g. Christmas Pageant, fieldtrips, etc.).

Students come at 8:27am for opening prayer and go home at 12:00pm, or may stay for lunch from 12:00-12:30pm. Kindergarteners stay until 1:30pm on their chosen days.

Science: Core Knowledge Curriculum,
Delta Science
Writing:
Step Up to Writing (K-3), Institute for Excellence in Writing (4-6)
Latin:
Sing Song Latin (1-3), Logos Latin (4-6)

Students attend classes for the aforementioned subjects and are responsible for class work and homework assigned at
HERITAGE ACADEMY for these subjects. Teachers offer help and support as needed. The school does not provide any other curriculum for home-schoolers, nor does it provide a home-school umbrella for families.

HERITAGE ACADEMY is not only a blessing to our son, but to our whole family.  He's very happy to go to school and learn while having fun, too.  At Heritage, he is gaining academic knowledge and growing in his faith in God. His personal relationship with Jesus is being nurtured daily.  Each morning as we enter the school gate we are welcomed into the safe and loving environment by the school's Principal.  We really value the ability we have to personally interact with our son's teacher each day and that our son has the opportunity to advance in his school work at his own pace.  Heritage is an extension of our home values and is facilitating the growth of our son in all the ways God has created him to be as an unique individual.”
